On this edition of the Men’s Health Podcast, Girl Next Door Naomi Piercey reveals the surprising sex tips you can learn from the wild kingdom. Like this one: Whenever things get a little tense between you and the wife, stop what you’re doing and have sex with her. At least that’s what bonobos do—the horny apes don’t just do the deed to reproduce, but also to resolve conflict and reduce tension with each other.

Then, reporter Michael Easter stops by to drop a few fitness tips, including a new way to buzz through your workout: Drinking a cup of coffee before a gym session could make exercise seem easier, according to a new study at the University of Louisiana. Men who consumed the caffeine equivalent of a strong cup of joe prior to a muscular endurance test reported feeling less muscle burn than those who popped a placebo. “We think that caffeine helps block some of the pain receptors in your muscles,” says lead researcher David Bellar, Ph.D.

Plus, food and nutrition editor Adina Steiman gives easy ways to add more fruits and vegetables to your diet. One genius move is to make a healthy chili, which she calls the “ideal delivery vehicle for produce.” Onions and bell peppers are already staples of most chilis, but she suggests throwing some diced sweet potatoes and a bag of frozen corn into the pot for even better, nutrient-packed results.
